Made By Pete is next up on Damian Lazarus’ Crosstown Rebels label with his new EP ‘So Long’.

The London producer, who has previously released on FTD and Kerri Chandler’s MadTech Records as well as Crosstown Rebels delivers two neat original cuts here accompanied by two even neater remixes courtesy of Solomun and Audiojack. He is joined by singer Jem Cooke, with whom he has collaborated in the past and who’s vocals add a layer of tangible to the already introspective cuts.

The title track of the EP is six and half minutes of lush atmospheres, deep groove and ethereal melodies. Combed with Cooke’s vocals, it’s frankly irresistible.

Speaking of the release, Made By Pete said, “The aim for 'So Long' was to create a record that would work in a club, but also crossover onto a playlist for everyday listening. The track took on many forms during its creation but as soon as Jem delivered that stunning vocal, the final outcome became obvious."
