Larry Heard to make live Berghain debut next month

It will also be the first time the house icon has played live in Germany...

Chicago legend Larry Heard will make his live debut in Germany in September with a set in Berghain.

The iconic house artist, whose album ‘Cerebral Hemispheres’ was released in April this year under his Mr. Fingers alias, will be taking his live show to the first edition of Bring Down The Walls, a new party curated by Panorama Bar resident Tama Sumo and Lakuti.

Taking place in the hallowed Berlin cub on Wednesday 19th September, support for Heard will come from both Lakuti and Tama Sumo as well as David Elimelech.

In explaining the concept behind Bring Down To Walls the organisers describe it as “a platform aiming to nurture a more caring music community via Music presentation, discussions and screenings.”

"Larry Heard, alongside Robert Owens, has been the inspiration behind the project name, and we are sure we speak for many when we say that Larry Heard's music touches us in a very deep and profound way," explain Lakuti and Tama Sumo on the official event page. “The message within the music continues to guide us in both our personal lives as well as our music path."
