Avicii's Chris Martin collaboration, ‘Heaven’, looks set for posthumous release

More music by the late EDM megastar could be finished by long-term collaborator Carl Falk...

Avicii’s co-producer, Carl Falk, is currently working on the EDM legend's unreleased Chris Martin collaboration, ‘Heaven’. No release date has yet been set.

The acclaimed Swedish songwriter and musician let fans know via Twitter on Saturday, posting an image of a DAW screen mid-production and a heartfelt message to his lost studio partner.

"Yesterday was a strange and emotional day in many ways trying to finishing these songs. It's not the same producing without you by my side. I miss you hanging over my shoulder doubting every little thing and detail in the song. #avicii #heaven," wrote Falk, who worked on Avicii's 'Broken Arrows', 'Sunset Jesus', 'Trouble' and 'Without You'.

Avicii, AKA Tim Bergling, tragically died earlier this year, at the age of 28. At the time he had been working on new music with an album in the pipeline, and 'Heaven', the track Falk is now finishing, was intended for the record. Since his death there have been near-constant tributes paid, including several during Tomorrowland, with plans for an orchestral homage at Creamfields later this month.
