Ableton's Loop Announce Names for 2018 Summit

The summit moved from Berlin to LA for the 2018 event...

Ableton's LOOP summit has announced the first names for its yearly creative gathering, this time taking place in LA over Berlin. Having impressed in 2017, Ableton decided to move the summit to the West Coast, and the first wave of names invovled have now been confirmed. Artist to attend the November event include dub pioneer Scientist who'll be performing live on his custom-built soundsystem, while producer and engineer Ebonie Smith will share his expeirences working with Atlantic Records including Lauryn Hill and The Roots. 

Elsewhere, Juana Molina will be discussing the records that shaped her life. Full details of the programme are available on the LOOP website. With sound design guru Richard Devine, journalsit Simon Reynolds and Kanye collaborator Laura Escudé already on the bill, it's a strong start for the first LA-based LOOP. Register for tickets here
