Diplo and Mark Ronson have made a track with Dua Lipa under their Silk City alias, the pop singer has confirmed.
In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, the ‘Scared to be Lonely’ singer spoke of working with Mark Ronson and Diplo – the duo that make up Silk City – ahead of releasing her upcoming sophomore album.
She said, “It’s something different, but it does lead into some of new music that I’m going to bring in my albums. It’s got some throwback elements to it; it’s dancey; it’s still a pop song.”
In the interview, Dua Lipa also revealed that a video has been shot for the song. She said, “I finished at seven yesterday morning. We shot all through the night. It wasn’t at the Louvre, unfortunately — it was in New Jersey.”
Silk City recently returned with brand new cut, ‘Loud’. DJ Mag first revealed news of the collaboration at the beginning of this year.
