Melbourne promoter Thick As Thieves is set to raise over AU$500,000 for the Fred Hollows Foundation, a chairty focussed on ending avoidable blindness. Over the past seven years and led by director Mike Toner, the agency ran events alongside Melbourne venue Revolver that included donations at the door, bar percentages, artist donations and personal donations from the Thick As Thieves team. Artists like Patrick Topping, Kölsch, Claptone and Doorly were all invovled in the events.

“Helping restore sight is one of the best gifts someone can give and Mike Toner and his wonderful Thick as Thieves team and supporters have done that thousands of times over,” said Gabi Hollows, Founding Director of The Fred Hollows Foundation. Mike and his team recieved the Fred Hollows Foundation Helping Hand Award in 2018 for their charitable work.

Earlier this month, Fedde Le Grand raised $90,000 for DJ Mag Top 100 Foundation that goes on to support charities like UNICEF and Ocean Cleanup.
