Calvin Harris has a picture of Rod Stewart in the booth with him when he DJs, according to a video shared to Twitter by Steve Aoki. 

The revelation hit social media on Tuesday 14th August, with footage recorded by Aoki showing both him and fellow electronic superstar Harris, alongside the framed photo in question. 

Clearly impressed, or at least amused, Aoki wrote: "When u realize @calvinharris has a framed photo of Rod Stewart on his dj booth. Simply amazing." 

Perhaps coincidentally, when Harris' Rihanna collaboration, 'We Found Love', hit the top of the US Billboard charts in 2011 he was the first Scottish artist to reach America's number one spot since Stewart in 1993 with the single 'All For Love', which also featured Bryan Adams and Sting. 

Harris also made headlines earlier this month with another image-related story when a photograph of him was added to the Scottish National Portrait Gallery. Aoki, meanwhile, recently hit our pages after opening his own pizza joint in Los Angeles, and admitted in a March 2018 DJ Mag Insights interview that he was considering putting an end to 'caking' people at his live shows.
