For the 14th edition of Compost Record’s ‘Future Sounds of Jazz’ compilation series, label founder Michael Reinboth handed the reins over to fellow Munich label Permanent Vacation’s Benjamin Fröhlich and Tom Bioly.

This new edition of the lauded series features 28 carefully chosen cuts over two CDs, one curated by Fröhlich and the other by Bioly. The compilation comes with tracks from some of the best producers in the sphere at the moment, including Machine Woman, New Jackson, Vanishing Twin, Roman Flügel and more. It also comes with three exclusive tracks from TB, Herzel and Fröhlich himself on remix duty for David Goldberg.

Fröhlich’s remix of Goldberg’s ‘Part Bells’ jaunty arpeggiated cut adds a dancefloor weight to the mix. A loose cymbal lead rhythm canters on the beat while the melodic flurries of the original veer in and out. You can hear it below.

'Future Sounds of Jazz Vol. 14' is out on Friday 7th September. Pre-order it here
