PROGRESSIVE house dude Matthew Dekay is one of those DJs whose productions end up in every other DJ's sets. The distinctive Dutchman behind the beloved DK Records stable seems able to produce the kind of tracks that transcend genres and work the floor in equal measure.
His DJ skills are also second to none, and it's this aspect of Dekay's talents that Dutch TV producers are most interested in. A camera crew will be shadowing him on tour, shooting fly-on-the-wall documentary series 'The DJ Life', which begins filming in November.
Dekay's highly-anticipated debut artist album is being readied for release soon, with production from Junkie XL, so this hectic and exciting time is bound to translate into top-notch television as he takes his music and DJing to the next level.
