THE GoodGreef gang are back and they mean business! With a massive seventh birthday party planned for 3rd November, at Manchester's unique clubbing event The Warehouse Project, which takes over the underground railway arch beneath Piccadilly Station, they're picking up the trance baton and running with it. In association with DJmag and MTV Dance, Magnificent Seventh is going to be the most momentous event so far in GoodGreef's colourful history.
For seven years, they've been building a reputation for exceptional parties. Since their heady beginnings in a country hall outside Manchester, putting on a party for likeminded party-mad pals, they've risen to the heights of one of the most important clubbing icons in the country. Now it's time to celebrate and at the same time look to the future.
Promising a masterful set from trance giant Paul van Dyk, a typically effects-laden excursion into electro-flecked grooves from Eddie Halliwell, and more dope DJs than you can shake a stick at, including Sander van Doorn, Adam Sheridan and new heads like John O'Callaghan, Tylor Leigh and Matt Everson on side, it's looking all good.
And as if that's not enough, the whole event will be powered by a state-of-the-art Funktion One soundsystem, with the next level sound giving Magnificent Seventh that extra whoomp factor, along with a futuristic lighting rig and immense projection screens to totally envelop you in the experience.
DJmag has linked with the GoodGreef crew to offer one lucky reader and a mate the chance to experience this leviathan trance session. The winner will get:
* A pair of free tickets to the Magnificent Seventh party
* A meet and greet with the DJs
* Free drink on arrival
* Free Magnificent Seventh merchandise
