The birthplace of Bulgarian clubbing, the vast Yalta is truly a club of firsts. Located in front of Sofia University Square at the very heart of the city, Yalta was the first Bulgarian nightclub to open (1959), the first Bulgarian nightclub to play electronic music (1989) and the first Bulgarian nightclub to book a foreign guest in former UK DMC champion Chad Jackson (1992). The - wait for it - first Bulgarian DMC Championship was also held here in 1992.

Bathed in iridescent light and encircled by balconies, the epic venue has been rocked by Laurent Garnier, Danny Tenaglia, Sander Kleinenberg and Paolo Mojo in the past 12 months.
