Despite its rich clubbing heritage, Bristol was suffering from a lack of new venues until this indoor skate park got hijacked by promoters like bass lovers Blowpop and techno crew Just Jack for regular mega-raves. A mash-up in all senses of the phrase, Claude Von Stroke, Benga and Stanton Warriors can appear on the same bill when the two promotions team up, and a rabbit warren of adjoining rooms and corridors compliment the epic ramp rave of the main room.

"Snapping on Fabric's heels is this huge warehouse space in Bristol," believes Alex Metric. "A huge main room, a great vibe and loony punters. I haven't played anywhere quite like it in the UK."
