HAVING been open for 11 years, countless clubbers' formative experiences are cut from the cloth of Fabric. Having weathered a threat of bankruptcy in the last year, its line-ups cherry-pick the most hyped live acts and DJs to play alongside trusty veteran residents like Terry Francis and Craig Richards. Throw in stunning sound and classy minimalist stylings set over three rooms of descending size which play host to a hugely varied crowd, from visiting European clubbers and suburban ravers to cool kids from the nearby East End, and you have a club whose global reputation is impossible to ignore. "Let's face it, there are few clubs in this world as solid as Fabric," the youthful house producer Maya Jane Coles tells us. "We've seen the death of a lot of London clubs over the last few years but as long as Fabric is still going there will always be hope."
