AS a global clubbing brand, Pacha is head and shoulders above the rest, but the undisputed jewel in its crown is still the original Pacha Ibiza, on the outskirts of Ibiza Town. Stealing headlines last season on the White Isle by poaching Luciano and Cadenza for its Sunday nights, it also proved that the club, renowned for its rich VIP guests and lithe, jewelencrusted dancers, as much as residences from the likes of Swedish House Mafia, could still attract underground talent. Indeed, with Optimo, Moodymann and Theo Parrish all playing on the same dancefloors as David Guetta's road-blocked 'Fuck Me I'm Famous', they proved that you can have it all under one roof. "Pacha Ibiza is a huge club with an intimate atmosphere," reckons Radio One's latest Dutch addition, Chuckie. "But the best thing for me is the soundsystem! I love playing there!" Sidney Sampson adds: "Pacha always rock the house!" With joint IMS founder Pete Tong recently announced as returning to host a night at the club in 2011, expect plenty more surprises before the Ibiza season kicks off proper.
