Cocorico
7

Continuing to rise in the Top 50 after last year's new entry, Cocorico entertains thousands upon thousands of clued-up Italian clubbers each year. With a spectacular pyramid structure that represents the idea of mystic ascension, clubbing's power to transcend the drudgery of everyday life for a night, and glass walls which evoke a vision of infinity, there certainly seems no limit as to who they're able to bring to the club. From the house and techno-forged Teutonic groove of Steve Bug and Ben Klock to the sawing basslines of Crookers, the post-minimal moodiness of Visionquest and the synth funk of Maceo Plex, the bookings across both their summer and winter seasons are bang on the money, covering every element of mainstream dance. On top of that, each summer they throw a festival, last year welcoming Paul Kalkbrenner to headline alongside Chase & Status, Maya Jane Coles and Simina Grigoriu.
