ProTools users get a taste of freedom with the new Mbox 2 Micro (out now priced £182 from digidesign.com ).
The tiny USB dongle can be used in place of the bulkier Mbox hardware for editing and sequencing on ProTools HD/LE and M-Powered. There's no audio inputs, only a headphone output with a volume control, perfect for long plane and train journeys.
