London Calling, Calling

London's dance music conference - London Calling - needs some clever buggers to present papers at their event at Earls Court in the summer.

London dance music conference, London Calling, is calling (ahem!) for professionals from the music industry to submit papers for possible inclusion in the presentations at their two-day events programme.

The dance music meeting, which will take place on June 29 and 30 at Earls Court, will consist of a number of interactive panels and presentations from top music industry experts, alongside a trade exhibition, live showcases and workshops.

London Calling 2006 will be an important event for the UK's DJ industry

London Calling launched last year, and despite a few minor problems with noise acoustics at the conference centre, it was hailed as a defining moment for the UK's dance music community.

Record labels, equipment manufacturers, DJs, and club promoters all attended the conference, which is aimed at becoming London's version of the much-heralded Winter Music Conference in Miami.
