Noted for his work as an official ambassador for the Dance4Life foundation (promoting awareness of HIV/AIDS), DJ Feel is at the forefront of Russia's bid to become a world superpower in dance music, being the driving force behind the massive Trancemission Festival, label and radio show, and having played the first dance music event in Moscow's Red Square for good measure.
However, there are still hurdles to overcome, notably Russia's bad rep for dodgy downloads.
“But it is a big problem in Russia to download music legally as well,” Feel tells DJmag. “For instance, to have an account on Beatport and buy music. It doesn't work well, credit cards are not being accepted, it is a real problem.” Having already released 'Feel - The Concert', an album recorded with the Russian Philharmonic Orchestra, what comes next?
