The undisputed kings of budget gear have two new sound enhancement processors due out before the end of 2007. Both boxes are hyping their ability to add 'dimension, clarity, punch and bottom end' to mixes and individual tracks. The underlying technology differs in approach between the two, and so the reason for both the Sonic Ultramizer (£69) and the Sonic Exciter (£86). Even so, Behringer cant help but call them both the 'Ultimate Stereo Sound Enhancement Processor', but surely there can be only one?
