The Cure, Depeche Mode and the current album we're working on with our band, Andain.
Best festival on the planet:
Lovefest in San Francisco.
Best bit of kit:
It's a toss-up between the Korg Poly-Ensemble from the 1970s, which gives these warm synth sounds that you can't get from anywhere else, or the Steinway Piano that takes up half of Josh's living room.
What tune makes you cry:
'What It's Like?' by Andain.
Naughtiest thing you've done this year:
Only Santa knows this and if he's not tellin', we're not either.

Josh Gabriel & Dave Dresden have had a storming year back on home soil, with the second single from their artist album 'Dangerous Power' smashing its way into the US billboard dance charts at No.1.
"It was cool for us, a real achievement, as it was released on our own indie label," says Josh.
The San Fran duo have also spent much of the past year in the studio working on their band Andain's LP and on Josh's debut album.

Time out of the studio has been consumed galloping the globe.
"We tend to like playing places that are more about partying. Ibiza, for instance, places where people are just out to have a good time," says Josh.
"They tend to identify with our music better," agrees Dave.

The pair have been using Ableton universally, enabling them to create specially tailored sets each and every time.
"This year we've done a lot of editing tracks, mash ups and bootlegs to keep things exclusive to us," says Josh.
They've also completed a new double mix CD for Toolroom Records, 'Toolroom Nights'. Rich, melodic and across the board, it's a great representation of the sound that is G&D in 2007.
