Electro-house
Best known for:
'Satisfaction'
Tune of the year:
My remix of the '24' theme tune.

Axwell in his genre and Digitalism in theirs. Gui Boratto is great too.
Breakthrough DJ/Producer of 2007:
There's a guy called Carl Cox who looks very promising.
Your musical inspiration:
I produce with my cousin Alle and we get inspiration from different things. I'm always inspired by dance music from past decades.
Best festival on the planet:
Coachella - it combines rock and dance music.
Best bit of kit:
My Mac - everything a man could wish for.
What tune makes you cry:
Paco Fernandez 'Grillos'. He's a guitarist from Ibiza and his music was the soundtrack for a fantastic holiday.
Naughtiest thing you've done this year:
I went on holiday in August with my girlfriend. I don't think my manager was very happy… but you gotta get cheeky sometimes.

Having conquered central Europe in recent years, 2007 has seen Benny taking North America by storm.
"I started the year with a tour of Canada on a huge rapper style tour bus.... 25 shows in a month, all sold out."
After that Benny hit the States, and the legendary American festival Coachella really caught his attention.
"That was one of the greatest thrills of my DJ career to date," he smiles. "I really enjoyed following Felix Da Housecat, he's such a laugh."
It's little surprise Benny's been going down well at the festivals, as his current musical penchant is tailor-made for moshing.
"I like rock contaminated with techno... and electro-punk... it's an exciting period, I feel like I'm back in primary school! Digitalism, Soulwax, LCD Soundsystem... all good stuff. Plus I love a lot of the rock bootlegs that appear out of nowhere."

Benny's also been busy working on his new album, which is set to feature a whole host of guests. His very own Pump-kin imprint is starting to take off too. On top of big Beatport hit Mobbing's 'Open Legs', plans are underway to get the label riding the airwaves before long.
