Roni Size Reprazent re-issued

The classic album by Roni Size's Reprazent collective, 'New Forms', celebrates its tenth anniversary in 2008, and is set to be reissued with a host of new tracks on 18th February. Originally released to rave reviews, it won the Mercury Music Prize in 1997, beating off competition like Primal Scream, Chemical Brothers and Radiohead. Containing such memorable dancefloors mashers as 'Brown Paper Bag' and 'Share The Fall', and the hip-hop-laced title track featuring Bahamadia, it's one of the greatest d&b albums of all time.

In its latest incarnation, 'New Forms 2', the album has been remixed and re-touched by Roni Size, to bring it storming into the future. Size believes the new production touches and brand new tracks will bring the music to a new audience of beat heads.

"The first generation of heads who were there with the rise of Reprazent and Roni Size will be able to reminisce over the last decade with the classics 'Brown Paper Bag', 'Share The Fall' and 'Heroes'. The generation of those who missed it will be able to appreciate the album with the new coat of armour I have added to the original tracks. I think fans of the original album always appreciated what we did with the technology of the day. This latest version shows what is possible now." Three new tracks will appear on 'New Forms 2" including fresh single 'Don't Hold Back' released 4th February.

Roni Size / Reprazent will also be touring in February, kicking off at Cardiff University (5th Feb), then on to Lemon Grove, Exeter (6th Feb), Club Academy, Manchester (7th Feb), Que, Birmingham (9th Feb), Rescue Rooms, Nottingham (13th Feb), Stylus, Leeds (14th Feb), Plug, Sheffield (15th Feb), Barfly, Liverpool (16th Feb), Digital, Brighton (18th Feb), Scala, London (19th Feb), Thekla, Bristol (20th Feb).
