INDEPENDENT LABEL MARKET RETURNS TO SPITALFIELDS

Indie records sale returns to London again this Saturday

Independent Label Market, the influential real-world market designed for independent labels to sell fresh vinyl at individual pop-up stalls, will return to Old Spitalfields Market in London this Saturday (11th July).

Since its launch in 2011, Independent Label Market has not only provided yet another opportunity for independent labels to sell music, but has also allowed both music retailers and budding vinyl enthusiasts to do business and connect within a real-world social setting; an undeniably crucial opportunity to buy and sell, free from the influence of an mp3-oriented industry now so reliant on online streaming and downloads.

ILM's return to Spitalfields will mark the second of three events occurring in London throughout 2015, and will feature stalls from the likes of Ninja Tune, Hospital, Warp, Acid Jazz, Shogun Audio, Late Night Tales, High Focus and many more.

Peacefrog Records, a standout example of one of the many labels set to appear at the forthcoming ILM event, is also offering a limited offer of 30 backpacks available in four colours and embroidered with the Peacefrog logo, in collaboration with clothing line Sandqvist. Also available exclusively through the market event are several signed Public Service Broadcasting LPs, some rare Kiasmos 12-inches, some limited edition test pressings from Etherwood, and much more.
