BLAZE BREAKS OUT AT THE COSMOPOLITAN IN LAS VEGAS

A fire has damaged the Bamboo Pool deck on the 14th floor of the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas over the weekend.
The home of regular dance events including music conference EDM Biz, the entire West Tower of the Cosmopolitan was evacuated as a safety precaution when the blaze erupted at 12:15pm on Saturday.
The Clark County Fire Department reported one person was taken to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation, with the pool deck's trees and cabanas burnt during the fire whilst the building sustained little damage.
An investigation into the blaze is still ongoing.
