Back in February, Point Blank expert instructor Liam Jones aka Cera Alba flew to ADE Mumbai to lead a live DJ performance session using Pioneer DJ's new TORAIZ AS-1 synth and SA-16 sampler. Taking place over 3 days, ADE Mumbai saw a range of industry professionals host Q&A's, exclusive industry discussions, networking events, strategy meetings, masterclasses and much more. In addition to Cera Alba's masterclass, Point Blank participated in a demo drop session giving feedback on delegates tracks, as well as Producer/DJ and Point Blank graduate Sanaya Ardeshir (Sandunes) hosting a production workshop, breaking down one of her tracks. Point Blank have recently expanded to Mumbai, so if you are based in India and want to study at the world's #1 music school check out their Mumbai courses.
In the video, Liam performs a 15 minute live set, linking Pioneer DJ CDJs with the Toriaz SP-16 sampler and Toraiz AS-1 synth/sequencer, before reviewing the hardware and briefly outlining its capabilities. Electronic Live Performance is just one of the modules on Point Blank’s BA (Hons) Music Production & Sound Engineering degree, on which you can also learn the fundamentals of music production, sound design, mixing, mastering and more.
