Watch Kells Deconstruct his remix of AMANI – ‘Transform’ for Point Blank Music School’s Friday Forum Live

This month’s Friday Forum Live features Point Blank graduate Kells for a deconstruction of his recent remix of ‘Transform’ by AMANI. The producer has gone from strength to strength in recent months, and for the team at Point Blank Recordings it was a no-brainer to have him remix AMANI for their first release. His remix adds a garage swing to AMANI’s delicate original, turning the EP’s fragile, blooming opener, into a moody brooder. It’s a standout track on a great EP, so it’s great to see Kells deconstruct the remix. As a former student he has confessed to spending many Friday afternoons watching these tutorials, so he’s understandably excited to be on the other side of the screen.
