Cor, blimey. That was a large one! Well, as big as could be in that cosy wee watering hole, Shoreditch's Bedroom Bar. Last night, we hauled our Funktion One over the road and revved it up ready for the Thursday night session crew; an amiable coming together of industry bods and straight-up clubbers, grateful for a free Tiger beer and the chance to catch the UK's finest DJs in an intimate setting without shedding a penny to get through the door. After such a successful celebration of the The Queen's Jubilee last year, Rivington Street Festival returns on Sunday 23rd June. This time with both a live music stage and dance stage, the event will take over Rivington Street and its various side streets for another day of bass and beats al fresco.
