In the fickle world of dance music where trends come and go like the tide, a label that manages to remain relevant without compromising its initial vision is a rarity; a label that’s done it for 15 years is a miracle. Celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, Ed Banger Records’ visionary Pedro Winter (who previously managed Daft Punk) has made the label’s journey look easy.

Busy P, aka Pedro Winter, is one of the most successful people in dance music — as a DJ, producer, label owner and artist manager. As a budding DJ in mid-’90s Paris he met a certain French duo, who had started calling themselves Daft Punk. They asked him to manage them, a beautiful partnership that helped catapult them to international success and continued right up until 2008 — they still remain good friends.
Ed Banger head honcho Busy P has teamed up with AIAIAI to release a limited edition Ed Banger version of their TMA–2 headphones.
The new Ed Banger edition are built around AIAIAI’s TMA–2 modular headphone, however the sound profile has been specifically developed by Ed Banger Records and is recommended for bass lovers and those who like their music loud.
The cans are also designed to provide heavy, powerful bass audio playback even at very low volume levels.

Justice appear to be one step closer to releasing their long-awaited third studio album.
Record label Because Music, who hold exclusive rights to Ed Banger Records, posted a tweet with a photograph of the pair signing papers, captioned: “On our way to new adventures with these boys.”
Justice released their past two albums on Ed Banger Records, the last of which, ‘Audio, Video, Disco’, came out in 2011. The duo announced in June 2014 that they had started work on a follow-up and Busy P later confirmed the project’s existence in October 2015.

Six parties are planned across Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne, Byron Bay, the Sunshine Coast and Sydney.
“No VIP corner, no stage diving, just house music all night long to make you sweat”.
Ah, so that’s what they mean by a house party...
Ex-Daft Punk manager and Ed Banger boss, Busy P is marking 20 years in the French touch game this year, and has tripped out to London's XOYO for a three month residency to celebrate.
He's also whipped up a special BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix for the occasion, plus bought along fellow French legends (cue Para One and Cassius) to help him out behind the decks.
Following stints from Skream, Jackmaster, and most recently Irish bloggers-cum-producers Bicep, the legendary Busy P will become XOYO’s fourth quarter resident in 2015.
Across October, November and December, Pedro Winter (AKA Busy P) will play every Saturday at the Old Street club as he presents his 20 Years of Party.
"I want this residency to sound like a musical journey of a young man who discovered electronic music back in the 90’s and made his life about it, a young man who’s still looking for the perfect beat," Winter said.
