UK charity Youth Music has launched the NextGen Fund, offering financial support to young creatives at the start of their music careers.
Butterz head honcho, Elijah, is spearheading the initiative, which aims to help tomorrow's industry innovators realise their dreams and ideas.
Applicants must be aged between 18 and 25, or 30 for those who identify as disabled. Grants of up to £2,500 are available, with 40 projects to be chosen per round of funding. There will be a total of three rounds per year.

Master of modern funk, Swindle, has announced a new triple EP series for Butterz.
Titled 'A Trilogy In Funk', the collection works similarly to his 2015 album 'Peace, Love & Music', finding the South London producer combining elements of local music from across the globe with his unique sound.
First up comes 'Connecta'; recorded in São Paulo, the EP is said to celebrate "the joy of summer" through its Brazilian vibe, and features a collaboration with Ricardo China and a remix from DJ Q.
Butterz bosses Elijah and Skilliam have just come back from spending a month in Japan with some select MCs, producers and DJs, where they recorded a mammoth live mix to showcase the vibe.
Elijah says: ‘Visiting [Japan] for the first time in 2014 and playing a couple of clubs showed me there are people far and wide passionate about this music and, most importantly, want to contribute to it.’

The 40-track complication offers a wide survey of the grime scene in 2015 featuring MCs from both old and new schools including Wiley, Novelist, Stormzy, and D Double E.
