Ukrainian DJ Nastia showcased her next-level parenting skills last Friday, playing a vinyl set at her daughter's school for 'bring your parents to school day'.
Sharing the experience via Facebook, Nastia said: "I was not lazy to bring a part of my home studio to the school and talk about DJing. I have explained to the children what is DJing about, who is a DJ, how equipment works and what is the meaning in playing electronic music from vinyls."
Following a debate, Cook County — the Illinois municipality which covers the city of Chicago — is set to officially recognise DJ shows as cultural contributions.
The decision will affect a current law which allows venues of below 750-capacity exemption from a 3% tax on admission fees for "live cultural performances".

“It’s a neo-political heist film, which I like — it’s pretty smart,” he says. “I’m really working hard at it at the minute, doing lots of action stuff that I’ve never really done before.”
