Hï Ibiza — the new club taking over from Space Ibiza — has announced its Wednesday night resident will be none other than Dutch trance veteran, Armin van Buuren.
The five-time Top 100 DJs poll winner has been a regular face on the White Isle throughout his illustrious career. Now he helps mark the opening season of Hï Ibiza with a 13 week run of parties titled U R, taking place every Wednesday from 21st June to 13th September.
Hï Ibiza's weekly schedule is beginning to take shape with today's news that Eric Prydz will be the club's new resident on Tuesday nights for his first ever Ibiza residency.
Set to play for 10 weeks, the progressive don will be transforming the club with his show-stopping audio and visual experience starting on Tuesday 20th June through to Tuesday 22nd August.
Set to join the Swedish selector across the ten week run will be the likes of Matthew Dear, Kölsch, Pig & Dan, Agoria, Catz 'N Dogz, Tube & Berger, Dusky and many more.
Eric Prydz was set to play two huge 4-hour warehouse shows in Brooklyn over the weekend, but the second event on Saturday (4th March) was called off by authorities before it started as fire regulations had reportedly not been met.
Prydz took to Twitter the following day (Sunday 5th March) to express his frustration. He said, "I'm still trying to make sense of wtf happened last night. Waiting for answers. I can't really put my disappointment in words.”

Eric Prydz teased the Pryda remix of his Cirez D track, ‘On Off’, whilst performing at a Vh1 Supersonic afterparty at the Blue Frog in Pune, India over the weekend.
The production is one of the biggest tracks for Prydz under his Cirez D alias, and his Pryda remix of it is due for release on his Mouseville Records label.
No date has yet been set for it to land.
Prydz also confirmed he will release a new album under his Pryda alias in 2017 on new Year’s Eve.

Fatboy Slim and Eric Prydz will grace the stage of this year’s WILD LIFE Festival held at Brighton City Airport over 9th and 10th June 2017.
Additional performers of WILD LIFE Festival 2017 include GRAMMY-winning singer Jess Glynne, the return of four-time BRIT Award nominated George Ezra as well as Rag’n’Bone Man and UK rapper Wiley.
Tomorrowland has revealed the first wave of artists for its 2017 events, which are set to take place on two consecutive weekends from 21st to 23rd and 28th to 30th July in the city of Boom, Belgium.

Eric Prydz has been revealed as a Saturday headliner for SW4 festival in London, taking place 26th and 27th August on Clapham Common.
The Swedish DJ/producer joins already announced acts Sigma (Live), Hannah Wants, Mistajam, Sigma, Duke Dumont and Sonny Fodera vs. Low Steppa, alongside much-loved D&B act Pendulum, who will perform their first show in six years at the festival.
Other new acts joining the Saturday bill also include MK, Heidi, Sam Feldt, Patrick Topping and Maya Jane Coles.
Eric Prydz has announced a nine-date North American club tour for the first quarter of 2017.
The Swedish superstar DJ/producer kicks things off at Echostage in Washington D.C. on 25th February, hitting venues in Texas, Miami, New Orleans, Toronto and a secret warehouse in Brooklyn, before wrapping up at LA's Factory 93 on 8th April.
Eric Prydz played Colorado’s Decadence Festival on New Year’s Eve, and dropped his private edit of U2’s ‘New Year’s Day’. You can watch footage of the track being played below.
It isn’t the first time Prydz has played his rework of the Irish band’s hit, as he first premiered it in 2014, but the Swedish DJ/producer has rarely aired it since.
