An unmastered new track is drifting through the mix like fog, and the host DJ’s voice cracks with anticipation: “I’m not going to lie, this tune is massive.” He yammers excitedly over the second drop, shouts out Hotflush Recordings boss Scuba for signing the track first, and bigs up the unknown producer, Joy Orbison.

GERD JANSON WILL MIX ‘FABRIC 89’
Gerd Janson is the latest DJ to record an instalment of Fabric’s prestigious monthly mix series, with the 16-track ‘Fabric 89’ that will be released on 19th August.
For it, the Running Back boss has spun tracks and remixes from Boddika & Joy Orbison, The Black Madonna, Traumprinz, John Talabot, Joe Clausell, Caribou, Prins Thomas and Todd Terje, amongst many others.
JOY ORBISON & NIGHTMARES ON WAX STEP UP FOR LOVE SAVES THE DAY
Taking place on 28th Saturday and 29th Sunday of May, Love Saves The Day is returning to Bristol’s Eastville Park for the fifth year running.
Hot Chip will be bringing their lauded live show to the park, alongside Hudson Mohawke, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Ben Klock, Roman Flügel, David Rodigan, Skream Paranoid London and many more.
While grime dons Stormzy, Section Boyz and Dizzee Rascal have been announced for the West Country two-dayer too.

RUSH HOUR COMPILE BEST OF 2015
We're pretty fond of Rush Hour Recordings here at DJ Mag HQ, and now fans of the label (old and new) can look back on some of the imprint's best releases from the last twelve months.

LIFE AND DEATH: DC10 RESIDENCY FOR 2015
Life and Death host their first Ibiza club residency at DC10 this summer. It’s curated by Tale of Us and will look to exhibit the darker side of techno, with a weekly rotation of acts including DJ Tennis, Thugfucker, Recondite, Mind Against and Woo York. There'll also be music from Job Jobse, Scuba, Joy Orbison, Mano Le Tough, Ten Walls, and Rødhåd, you can find the full schedule below.
THE GARDEN FESTIVAL 2015 LINE-UP ANNOUNCED
The Garden Festival has just released the first part of its 2015 line-up. Set to take place on 1st — 8th July, this marks the tenth and final year of the festival in Tisno, Croatia.
The first names to be announced include DJ Harvey, Seth Troxler (pictured above), Joy Orbison, Ben UFO, Midland, Craig Richards, Greg Wilson, Crazy P and Psychemagik, with even more to be revealed soon.
