Detroit techno legends Kevin Saunderson, Juan Atkins and Derrick May will embark on a DJ tour under the new moniker, The Belleville Three.
The name originates from Belleville High School which all three techno icons attended during their formative years.
Speaking to Billboard Magazine, Kevin Saunderson said the trio hopes one day to expand into a full live show where they'll recreate their iconic tracks in a live setting at clubs and theatres.

The three foundational techno producers, who are known as The Belleville Three after all attending Belleville High School, haven’t performed together since Awakenings Festival in 2010.
London’s Institute of Contemporary Arts has announced that it will host a new exhibition called Detroit: Techno City, which will run from Wednesday 27th July to Sunday 25th September.
The exhibition explores the musical and social influences that informed the emergence of Detroit techno music from the mid-80s onwards. It will focus on how the Belleville Three, made up of Juan Atkins, Derrick May and Kevin Saunderson, were at the forefront of a generation pushing the boundaries of electronic music and their sound’s subsequent rise in popularity.
Some of Detroit’s most influential house and techno artists — including Juan Atkins, Derrick May and Kevin Saunderson — have been presented with lifetime achievment awards by Detroit’s City Council.
The awards were presented to the artists for their “outstanding achievement or service to the citizens of Detroit."
