Mr Mitch has shared the second instalment of his 'TECHNO DANCEHALL' mix series online.
The series sees the DJ, producer and Boxed resident fuse together modern club sounds that take influence from mutated strains of techno and dancehall. He launched the series with the first instalment in October of last year, as part of a mix specially produced for Rinse. This time around, 'TECHNO DANCEHALL 2' was produced to air on his Rinse FM show.
Mumdance, Yamaneko, object blue and more have helped label Local Action compile an Ambient Resistance playlist to kindly brighten up our January blues.
A combination of label artists and friends have put together over 15 hours of music covering everything from ambient to modern classical including Ryuichi Sakamoto, Max Richter, and Yamaneko, the only rule seemingly being the track must be impeccably chill.
Rinse FM has announced its residency programming for its next season.
The groundbreaking London station has added over 35 new names to its rotating list of residents, including Glasgow’s Big Miz, object blue (who earlier this year contributed to DJ Mag's Fresh Kicks mix series), plus Mr. Mitch - who recently dropped his dancehall-inflected ‘Primary Progressive’ EP.
