Carl Cox has announced an extra special treat for his final ever Music Is Revolution party at Space, Ibiza.
On Tuesday 20th September, the techno legend will play vinyl for the first time in a decade, as he marks the end of his 15-year run at the famous club, which closes its doors permanently the following month.
"At the start of my residency, of course I only played vinyl but now everything is digital and has been for some years," says Coxy. "I wanted to take things back and pay homage to all those years at Space spinning records.

Space Ibiza's final closing party on 2nd October is getting ever-closer, however, according to new info from club veteran Carl Cox, that may actually be the end!
“Plans are on the table for it opening at another site but it won’t happen for at least two years," admits the techno legend, in an interview with Ticketmaster.
Coming on the UK’s own Cr2 Records, Space has released its final ever compilation CD to mark the legendary club’s impending closure. Mixed by Music Is Revolution main man Carl Cox, regular Space residents Pig & Dan, and Cr2 head honcho, Mark Brown, the compilation aims to capture a little of the club’s magic, with tracks spanning from 1989 all the way to 2016. Expect to hear records from everyone from Patrick Topping to Deetron, with a bunch of old school classics thrown in for good measure.

The loveable label boss, DJ and long-standing producer is one of the scene’s most respected statesmen, running his labels MadHouse and MadTech, and now new imprint Kaoz Theory. He’s out in Ibiza over the next two months, spinning at DC-10 throughout the remainder of the season, plus a special one-off date at Carl Cox’s Music Is Revolution party playing back-to-back with the man himself. Space Ibiza have added Anja Schneider and Darius Syrossian to the line-up for the venue’s final closing party on Sunday 2nd October.
It’s also been revealed that the event will make use of all five of the club’s rooms, with doors being set to open at 4:30pm, before closing again sometime on Monday.
Space Ibiza had already announced that Carl Cox and Tale Of Us will play the club’s final closing party, with the original artwork stating “many, many, many” more artists are to be announced for the event, which promises to be one of the hottest tickets of the year.
