Ok, so although the new hive designed by creative agency Edgy & Cheesy isn't meant for humans (not that we'd fancy sharing a tight space with a colony of stinging insects anyway!), the project is a pretty cool one.
Based in Munich, the six-storey hive sports an grim exterior complete with graffiti and blacked-out windows.
How to get into Berghain — it's a puzzle that most of the dance music community has given up on/gotten bored with a long time ago (aside from the odd computer game or mickey-taking festival stage), but apparently it still fascinates the mainstream media enough that the BBC has now chimed in on the debate.

Last night (Tuesday 6th September) the Islington Council licensing sub-committee revoked Fabric’s licence. The dance music community, receiving the news online, was up in arms.
Afterwards, as tearful Fabric staff stood around the steps of the town hall, Alan Miller of the Night-Time Industries Association (NTIA) pledged that the #SaveFabric campaign must continue.
American comedian and talk show host, Conan O'Brien, has been spotted filimg outside of world famous Berlin nightclub, Berghain.

In a new report published by Thump, Shapes founder Seb Glover has claimed that the Hackney Wick venue was shut down by local authorities as part of plans to redevelop the area.
Shapes, which served as a music venue, studios for hire and community centre (even holding educational and creative programmes in local schools), was closed earlier this year following an alleged sexual assualt at a private party back in March.
