Amnesia Ibiza has announced first details of its brand new Monday night party, Pyramid, which replaces the recently departed Cocoon.
No artists have yet been announced for the event, but a tweet from the club stated it will bring “the return of the old Ibiza, where all that mattered was the music, the energy and dancing until the early hours of the morning.”
Cocoon will start a new residency at Pacha in summer 2018 after an 18-year spell at Amnesia.
Sven Väth's legendary weekly party will be moving from its slot on Monday nights in Amnesia to the equally iconic Pacha. The statement was made by the DJ today over social media.
"Ibiza will never stop changing and nor will Cocoon," he said via Facebook. This is metamorphosis multiplied by two and I am so excited about this collision of visions. Lets turn this page and get on the dancefloor."
DIYnamic’s Solomun and Cocoon’s Sven Väth did musical battle last Sunday (10th September) during Solomun’s sell-out + 1 party, with the pair turning in a night of epic proportions inside Pacha Ibiza’s hallowed walls.
Solomun’s + 1 concept sees the legendary DJ/producer invite a new selector to Pacha each and every week for an explosive round of musical action, with the DIYnamic boss spinning alongside Joseph Capriati, Damian Lazarus, Dubfire and many, many more since the party fired up again back in May.

Cocoon Ibiza has revealed the line-up for its 2017 season, which runs for 14 Mondays from 29th May at Amnesia Ibiza.
Joining Cocoon Ibiza head honcho Sven Väth as residents will be Ricardo Villalobos, who spins 6 exclusive shows across the summer.
The Chilean minimal master will also be joined by Adam Beyer (seven shows), Nina Kraviz (5 shows) and Ilario Alicante (seven shows).

Mysteryland has announced the stage hosts for its 2017 Netherlands event.
EDM powerhouse Spinnin' Records will run Spinnin' Sessions in the massive Big Top, while legendary hard dance brand Q-dance and Diplo's Mad Decent imprint are on hand too.
Also on the label front are Sven Väth's Cocoon and Andy C's RAM Records, while London Elektricity's Hospitality and Jamie Jones' Paradise offer artist-led party brands.
