Ultra Musical Festival has announced it will launch a new edition in Australia in 2018.
The news was revealed yesterday (Sunday 26th March), on the final day of Ultra's flagship event in Miami. Speaking to the mainstage crowd, Ultra's announcer said the nation had "just joined our global family."
Ultra currently hosts events across five continents, and last year wracked up 26 events across 17 countries. Plans for an Australian leg first emerged in 2013, with the festival originally supposed to launch the following year.
