Mad Decent honcho Diplo has teamed up with 2015 DJ Mag Top 100 DJs winners Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike to fight off evil!
Ok so maybe this is strictly true, but it is the plot to the trio's new animated music video for their track 'Hey Baby' featuring singer, Deb's Daughter.
Made to look like a comic book (complete with speech bubbles!), the clip sees the producers sucked inside the movies, visiting the world's of Terminator, King Kong, Ghostbusters and more to battle a collection of cinema's greatest villians.
Skrillex has teamed up with killer collaborators RL Grime and What So Not for new trap banger 'Waiting'.
The clip of the tune — which first came to light in a video from What So Not's performance at Hollywood's Fonda Theatre back in September — was shared via RL Grime's Facebook page yesterday, and includes a number (1-855-464-7348) which fans can supposedly ring to hear the track in full.
Martin Garrix's STMPD RCRDS imprint today drops its first release not by the young Dutch bossman himself.
Titled 'Leave This Place', the single instead comes from LA-based LIONE, who most notably remixed Jack Ü's 'Where Are Ü Now' last year.
Keen-eyed fans may have seen this one coming, as LIONE guested on the STMPD Radio show on Beats 1 back in July.
The track itself is a synth-heavy slice of electronic pop, complimented by a glitchy, futuristic Neo-Tokyo themed video clip which you can watch below.
Last week at the Amsterdam Dance Event, Martin Garrix was announced as the youngest ever winner of the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll. Over 1 million votes were cast overall by the public this year, and while obviously not all over them were for the Dutch EDM wunderkind, he was clearly keen to reward those that were.
2015 Top 100 DJs winners Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike have dropped a festival-ready electro-house remix of Major Lazer and DJ Snake's 2015 smash hit 'Lean On'.
The duo's Tomorrowland Remix' (although never actually played at either of this year's Tomorrowland shows) leads in with MØ's original vocals, before dropping into a laser-firing EDM banger.
DV&LM are kindly offering the remix up for free download, and you can stream a clip of the track below.
DJ Snake has shared a short film following him on his 2016 summer tour.
The Frenchman, who recently collaborated with Justin Bieber, has been to all four corners of the Earth this year, promoting his album 'Encore'.
Set to Snake's track 'Here Comes The Night', the clip shows him flying around, playing to legions of crazed ravers, signing autographs, taking selfies with fans and waving his hands about a lot. Check it out for yourself below.
Skrillex has voiced concerns on Deadmau5's not-so-friendly persona, in particular the Canadian's attack on up-and-coming EDM star Marshmello.
In an interview with Complex, Sonny Moore addresses the situation saying Deadmau5 was "acting like such a fucking bully" when he called Marshmello "annoying" and his fans a "brain dead posse of deaf sheep" in a Twitter outburst.
Alesso fans recieved a special treat on Saturday night as the Swedish superstar showed off his insane new stage at the Greek Theatre in LA.
The spectacle reportedly took four months to design and build, transforming from a little drawing on scrap of paper into an absolute behemoth, featuring 100 meters of floor-to-ceiling LED screens and enough lasers to put a Star Wars space battle to shame.
Check out some footage of the stage below.
Last month, Dutch EDM dominator Hardwell took to the stage at Germany's Hockenheimring for BigCityBeats Virtual World Club Dome.
Closing out his I AM Hardwell - United We Are world tour with Dannic, Kill The Buzz and Funkerman, the two-time DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll winner played to 25,000 screaming fans, delivering the biggest beats and a mind-blowing array of lights and pyrotechnics.
Footage has emerged of a new version of Skrillex and What So Not's long-awaited collaboration 'Goh'.
The track first appeared back in 2014, when Skrillex dropped it on New Zealand radio station George FM, but never saw and official release and was seemingly lost in the ether.
Recently however, What So Not has been playing a revamped version of 'Goh' (named “'cause it makes you just wanna go,” as Skrillex says), in his DJ sets.
The Aussie has now uploaded a clip of the track to his Instagram, while one plucky fan also caught the new version on camera.
