EXIT Festival will offer the coronavirus vaccine to international artists and festivalgoers attending the event this summer.
As well as offering 3000 free festival tickets to medical workers, the Serbian festival - which takes place at Novi Sad across 8th-11th July - has made the move ahead of the country's plans to fully re-open on 21st June.
Exit Festival will have to reduce capacity by 90% to go ahead this year following a spike in COVID-19 cases in Serbia.
In a statement in May this year, Serbian prime minister Ana Brnabic said that the Serbian government expected the pandemic to be “totally under control” in Europe by August, and that it would be safe for the festival to take place in some capacity. The Novi Sad event, which attracted over 55,000 festivalgoers a day over four days in 2019, previously announced that it would be unable to take place as originally planned in July.
The line-up for EXIT festival 2020 has been revealed.
In May, Prime Minister Ana Brnabic requested that organizers of EXIT, Serbia’s largest festival, do not cancel despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, recommending instead that it be postponed from its original dates in July to August.

The techno giant will play for three hours at the Serbian festival next July. His set will round off the closing night at the Dance Arena.

Martin Garrix has been confirmed as part of this year’s closing ceremony at EXIT Festival, which runs from 12th through 15th July at Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad, Serbia.
