The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, has pledged £450,000 to support grassroots venues affected by COVID-19.
Last month, the UK government revealed the first group of 135 venues receiving emergency grants from a £1.57billion support package for the arts and culture industries.
Now, Sadiq Khan has announced that almost half a million pounds will directly support grassroots venues in London, with over 100 venues battling through the pandemic set to benefit from the fund.
Junction 2 announces full 2021 line-up
The full line-up for next year's Junction 2 has been revealed.
Having had to postpone this year's outing due to the coronavirus pandemic, the annual London festival is set to return for its fifth edition on 4th-5th June 2021.
As well as replicating the entirety of 2020's line-up for next year, Bambounou, Esa and Jossy Mitsu have joined Friday's bill, while Saturday welcomes new additions Deena Abdelwahed, Sam Bangura and Samuel Deep.
