Red Bull Music Academy Festival will be making a return to New York this spring with a month of live performances, workshops, screenings and parties starting on April 29th to May 22nd.
Highlights include Dizzie Rascal performing his 2003 breakout album ‘Boy In Da Corner’ in its entirety, Amsterdam’s Dekmantel and New York City’s The Bunker will be joining forces for a night of dark and driving electronic music, and legendary filmmaker Spike Lee will be in conversation with Nelson George.
With musical roots reaching back to New York during the '80s — where he absorbed the spirit of the Paradise Garage every weekend — Boris is a dance veteran in the truest sense. With his broad musical spectrum, which ranges from disco, hi-NRG, post-punk and (Kraut-)rock to house and neotrance, Boris draws upon a wealth of experience to express all of it in one set.
Friday from 7pm-9pm (EST), Boris will be performing a LIVE DJ set from Space Ibiza New York live streamed on DJ Mag TV.

I can probably tell you a thousand stories about Rob Fernandez. From anecdotes of our youth in the New York City club scene to the careers he discovered and helped construct and, of course, the lives he touched. Rob’s clubbing career started in the ‘90s, when NYC was still a close-knit community of clubs kids discovering their own boundaries and crossing them as they went along.
