Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello has surprised fans with a different direction on his new album.
Titled ‘The Atlas Underground’, the album sees Morello embrace EDM production techniques while still making full use of his guitar. In order to achieve the sound he wanted, he’s collaborated with a number of big names from the scene including Steve Aoki, Knife Party, Bassnectar and Pretty Lights.

Sitting down on the couch to talk shop and shoot the breeze for BuzzFeed's AM to DM live morning show, Aoki suggested that one of the world's foremost business innovators could be a great studio partner.
"I would love to collaborate with Elon Musk," Aoki said. "At the end of the day it's not necessarily about, you know, I just need, like, ideas, creative flow, energy and then the kind of vibe off that."

The revelation hit social media on Tuesday 14th August, with footage recorded by Aoki showing both him and fellow electronic superstar Harris, alongside the framed photo in question.
Clearly impressed, or at least amused, Aoki wrote: "When u realize @calvinharris has a framed photo of Rod Stewart on his dj booth. Simply amazing."

Steve Aoki has reportedly used a yet-to-be-titled collaboration with Hardwell as an intro track during recent live dates. First recorded during Aoki’s 11th February performance in Philadelphia, PA, few of the single’s details have been confirmed by either team.
“This is my new track with Hardwell!” exclaimed the polarizing dance music figure at the 2:10 mark of the live recording. Lacking further dialogue from the DJ/producer and any significant track vocal, the single’s title remains unknown.
Secret Solstice has released its first wave of acts including Steve Aoki, Charlotte de Witte, Skream and more, with the festival set to kick off from 21st to 24th June in Reykjavik, Iceland.
Now in its fifth year, the festival will feature local and international artists including Fools Gold boss A-trak, Romanian minimal techno trio [a:rpia:r] (Petre Inspirescu, Raresh, Rhadoo) and legendary UK selector Artwork to name a few.
