Premiere: Umwelt 'Starless Night'
Umwelt will feature on Helena Hauff's forthcoming mix for Berlin label Tresor's Kern series.
The series, which has featured the likes of DJ Deep, DJ Stingray and Objekt, welcomes Helena Hauff for 'Kern Vol. 5': a 31-track mix of hard techno and warped electro, with nods to hardcore, and the darker side of bass music.
Among the artists on 'Kern Vol. 5', a list that includes Dirty Hospital, Galaxian, L.F.T., and Shedbug, Hauff shines a light on French DJ and producer Umwelt, with a spin of a new techno production, 'Starless Night'.

Premiere: Vril ‘Nosode’
Mysterious techno producer and live act Vril will release his new album this month via Marcel Dettmann’s BAD MANNERS label.
Comprising seven cuts of cavernous, distorted techno, with hints of house groove and twisted melody, ‘BM4’ is a collection tailor-made to be heard on powerful speakers. ‘Nosode’ is the album’s centre piece: a roaring anthem with a pounding kick and screeching synth lead. Check it out below.

History of Polish techno to be explored in new book
A crowdfunder has been launched to publish a book about Poland's techno scene.
Launched by Radosław Tereszczuk, Artur Wojtczak and Łukasz Krajewski, three key members of Poland's techno scene, a crowdfunder has been set up to raise money to publish '30 Years Of The Polish Techno Scene' - the very first anthology of techno and the electronic music scene in Poland.
Not just limited to techno, the book contains more than 700 pages, and is filled with photos and stories from those involved in the techno, house, and drum & bass scenes in Poland, past and present.
