New Years Eve has always been one of the biggest events in the dance music calendar. And as electronic music continues to dominate the global airwaves, the dawn of 2015 is set to be the biggest and best yet! We have tracked down the world’s biggest DJs, so you know where you can find them when the clock strikes twelve!
Of all the regions represented in 2014’s Top 100 DJs result, it is Europe that is most dominant. A staggering 70% of the 100 DJs in the list are European. Of the Top ten DJs in the poll, eight are European and five are from Holland - a nation that has turned EDM into a major export over the last decade or two. These are Europe’s biggest DJs, as voted for by you.

In just a few years the client-meeting-and-carnage week that is Amsterdam Dance Event (Pronounced “A, D, E” by Europeans, “Aid” by the US and “Friday afternoon” by the Dutch) has become an interesting hybrid.

If the titles weren’t enough, then the sounds of Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s tracks ‘Tremor’ and ‘Body Talk (Mammoth)’ with their hippo-sized basslines, shrieking hyena riffs and drum-rolls that stampede like rhinos show that Belgian brothers Dimitri and Michael Thivaois are amongst dance music’s big beasts. And they’ve been roaming far and wide this year, playing across Mexico, Brazil and the UK, launching a new residency in Ibiza, and returning home to the Tomorrowland festival, which they’ve headlined for five years.
Hardwell received the coveted No.1 DJ in the world award at the massive Amsterdam party on Saturday 18th October. This is the fourth year in a row that the Top 100 DJs awards have been in Amsterdam, to coincide with the ADE conference that occurs in mid-October every year.

The double compilation, which is available as CD or download from iTunes, Google Play and Amazon, features tracks from the world’s most popular DJs and EDM artists - according to this year’s Top 100 DJs voters.
The album features tracks from No.1 DJ Hardwell, No.2 DJs Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike alongside cuts from EDM big hitters Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Fedde Le Grand and Avicii.
The results are in! Just minutes ago, Dutch EDM artist, Hardwell was crowned as the World’s No.1 DJ, for the second successive year. He was presented with the award at the official Top 100 DJs ceremony, held on the mainstage of the Amsterdam Music Festival at the Amsterdam ArenA.
