Armin van Buuren has shared a new video for his recent collaborative single with Shapov, ‘The Last Dancer’.
The minimal, greyscale video makes for an interesting contrast to the euphoric trance banger that dropped back in March this year.
Armin’s been full of surprises this past week, having just yesterday teased new music under his Gaia alias.
Trance, as we know, is usually intended to be enjoyed fast, loud and with a fair amount of zeal.
Sometimes though, it’s more fun to manipulate the tracks you’ve got to create something totally different using just the slightest of changes.
Above & Beyond have revealed that they have a new all-inclusive trance festival in the works.
In a message posted to the Above & Beyond-dedicated subreddit, r/AboveandBeyond, last week, the group shared details regarding an “all-inclusive weekend in a beach paradise.”
Armin van Buuren has dropped a very wordy new psy-trance track by the name of ‘Blah Blah Blah’.
The track, which is full of chanted vocals, ballad-like piano chords and your classic psy-trance bleeps, is the title track from the trance star’s forthcoming EP.
The EP is set to drop on Armada music on 8th June and features three other tracks, ‘The Last Dancer’, ‘Just As You Are’ (as Rising Star) and ‘Popcorn’.
‘Blah Blah Blah’ was first heard at Ultra Miami 2018.
Above & Beyond have shared a new track, ‘Red Rocks’, and it’s a pure trance epic.
Armin van Buuren has released a new club mix of his latest track ‘Therapy feat. James Newman’.
He first premiered the tune during his Ultra Music Festival set back in March in Miami, with van Buuren writing on YouTube, “So cool that I can finally share this one you. Let me know what you think of the club mix!”
Paul van Dyk, Aly & Fila, Cosmic Gate and more have been confirmed for Privilege Ibiza’s new trance night, titled SHINE.
The new party will take place on Mondays in Privilege’s VISTA room with the season set to run for 11 weeks from 9th July to 17th September.
Paul van Dyk will be joined by other trance acts including Bryan Kearney and Simon Patterson, alongside young guns like Grum and Ben Nicky.
Above & Beyond are set to play a “special yoga set” this month.
As part of their all day ‘Common Ground’ party at Creamfields’ Steel Yard, London on 26th May, the legendary trance trio will open up the day’s festivities with a special yoga set, kicking of at 1 45 pm.
With “no mat or prior experience required”, the set will be guided by friend of the group, Nadia Narain.
Cream Classical has unveiled plans for two events at Liverpool Cathedral, hometown spectacles that will help mark the UK clubbing institution's 26th birthday.
The shows will take place on Friday 26th and Saturday 27th October, when the 50-piece Kaleidoscope Orchestra will deliver dancefloor anthems that have come to define Cream over the last two decades within a truly stunning setting. Both performances will last two-hours, with official afters free to all ticket-holders.
Trance legends Above & Beyond have uploaded a live recording of their acoustic set in the Hollywood Bowl from 2016.
Performed with an orchestra, the set was part of the UK trio's venture into more acoustic territory – which you can find documented in their new film ‘Giving Up The Day Job’.
