The accident, which occurred during a performance for A State Of Trance back in 2016, left van Dyk with serious spinal and brain injuries, resulting in a three-month recovery period for the German trance legend.

Having announced the release of the album back in August, PVD has shared the epic opening title track featuring vocals by Plumb, who also featured on the trance legend’s 2012 track ‘I Don’t Deserve You’. ‘Music Rescues Me’, as with the latter track, was co-written by Snow Patrol’s Johnny McDaid.
