Apple launch new iMac Pro and iPad Pro models: First look

They won't be cheap...

Apple has announced that it is launching new iMac Pro and iPad Pro models.

The new iMac Pro will land at the end of the year with a starting price of $4,999.

Billed as “the most powerful Mac ever”, the top of the range model will feature an 18-core processor that supports up to 4TB of SSD memory and comes with a 5K 27" retina display.

The music community will be also happy to know that the new iMac Pro also ships with a good selection of connection options, unlike the recent MacBook Pro upgrade, which dropped all of the legacy connectors.

The new computer will have four USB ports and four Thunderbolt 3/USB-C ports, more than enough connection options to keep producers happy.

The new iMac also takes it colour styling from the recent revamped MacBook Pro, with a sleek space grey enclosure.

The iPad Pro range has also been pimped up to offer more power to DJs and producers with a new 10.5" model being introduced.

With a vast increase in the processing department, users now will have the ability to edit 4K video directly from the device with no issues on performance.

The new iOS11 operating system will follow the release of the new iPad, adding additional functions and bringing desktop style performance to the tablets, a bonus for music creators who need to have multiple apps and screens open.
