MOUNT KIMBIE RELEASE NEW SAMPLE PACK

New MK Sample Pack available for free on Converse Rubber Tracks Website

Mount Kimbie have just created a rather interesting sample pack in conjunction with those original innovators of rather cool plimsolls Converse. Kai Campos from the band paid a visit to the Converse Rubber Tracks pop up studio in London where he offered up a unique blend of percussion and synth recordings to create the “MK Pack” for the Converse Rubber Tracks Sample Library.

With access to a unique collection of live and analog gear, Campos took advantage of KORE Studios’ drum kit as well as their rare Roland Jupiter–8 synthesizer all recorded through an API 3208 mixing console, to create the new sample library.

In this unique collaboration DJs and Producers can get a feel of the type of sounds that Mount Kimbie use in their productions, ranging from one shot drum hits to musical loops covering synth sounds, grooves and FX. There are 123 sounds in the MK Pack available from the Converse Rubber Tracks Sample Library website.
