Scotland isn't all about the Sub Club and The Arches. Buried in the pulsing heart of Edinburgh's Old Town, Caves is a rare, atmosphere-drenched venue. Built into the huge arches of the 18th century South Bridge, the interior is a series of vaults, excavated by the father and son team of rugby internationalist Norrie Rowan and his son Norman. And apparently, there may be more rooms to unearth!

Caves fan and breaks pusher Hexadecimal says: "It's like a medieval banqueting hall beneath bridges. I totally love everything about it - the staff, the crowd, the uniqueness. It gets better every time I play there."

From James Holden's geek techno to the disco licked house of James Murphy, the Caves bring a new cool edge to Edinburgh clubbing.
